Embrace the Paradoxen™

Welcome to OTOHOTO (“On The One Hand, On The Other”), my new blog on perspective…which covers some pretty broad territory. Curiosity, empathy and osmosis have taught me that it’s crucial to keep an open mind and look at things from a variety of points of view to shape my perspective. My own background is shaped by multiple perspectives and filled with paradoxen: qualitative marketing researcher by profession, lawyer by training (and the soul-crushing of my early 20s), and comedian/writer by the seat of my pants (that is, if I were wearing any at the time of this posting). With OTOHOTO, I’m not attempting to reconcile the paradoxen, I’m just going to embrace them. I strive to make connections (sometimes humorous) between people, ideas, words, cultures and cultural reference points, in the hope of shining light on our shared humanity…and inanity. OTOHOTO is my playpen. Thanks for playing with me!
